In the image above, you can see that you will have the opportunity to view three specifice types of posts, without having to scroll through all posts. Please note that the image is taken from my generic skin. Your skin might look different, and the location of this may be in a different place: but it should still be available. This was in the upper right hand corner, above the forums on the first/main page.

View posts since last visit
This selection will display all of the posts from all forums that you are authorized to view, that have posted since your last visit.

View your posts
This option will display all the posts that either you have initiated or that you have submitted/replied to.

View unanswered posts
Here, you can view all the posts that have not been replied to. However, you will still see sticky or locked posts without replies...even if you have read them already.
